FPS Food Process Solutions and OptiCept Technologies Secure Commercial Order for SP7 PEF System with Leading Saudi Potato Producer
ShareShareShareShareShare

FPS Food Process Solutions (“FPS”), a global leader in turn‑key food processing technologies, has secured a commercial order for the FPS OptiCept S‑Series (SP7) system as part of a major End‑to‑End potato project with the RASMCO Group in Saudi Arabia.

Secured in late 2025, this order marks a significant milestone for FPS. The modular SP7 system will deliver advanced Pulsed Electric Field (PEF) treatment for potatoes—a major step toward introducing FPS’s next‑generation technology to the Saudi market. Install for mid-2026 is already underway.

“We are encouraged by the strong response to our PEF technology within Saudi Arabia’s potato processing sector,” says Mourade el Hassouni, General Manager, Middle East & Africa, FPS Food Process Solutions. “This order reflects our commitment to delivering the highest levels of efficiency and quality to major customers in the region.”

This latest project adds to the growing adoption of FPS PEF installations in North America and Asia, for French fry and potato chip production.
