FarmRobotix Returns to the DLG-Feldtage Event 2026
ShareShareShareShareShare

16–18 June 2026 at the International DLG Crop Production Centre in Bernburg, Germany– Guiding theme: “Crop Production out of the Box” – More than 200 exhibitors already registered – dlg-feldtage.de – Also featured this year: FarmRobotix presenting agricultural robotics – Digitalisation, automation and AI in crop production – The event also hosts Field Robot Event a contest for student-built robots

(DLG). At the DLG Feldtage 2026, an outdoor field exhibition with trial plots, professional visitors can expect live machinery and crop‑trial demonstrations, practical overviews and expert discussions. The biennial event, which this year is held in Bernburg, Germany, 16-18 June, attracts more than 300 exhibitors and serves as a leading platform for practical crop production and applied techniques. Visitors can experience developments first hand, including the latest machinery in operation, a broad range of crop varieties, advanced technologies and forward‑looking cultivation strategies. The FarmRobotix exhibition area, now in its second edition, will additionally give interested visitors a closer look at current developments in robotics, automation and AI in crop production, including companies such as Digital Workbench, Combined Powers (a Krone and Lemken development), AgXeed and Escarda.

In addition to exchanges with practitioners and experts, the FarmRobotix platform features a dedicated demonstration area for autonomous crop‑production solutions as well as a stage programme and guided tours:

Expert presentations: Daily live presentations on the DLG Expert Stage provide insights into current research, practical experience and regulatory aspects of robotics and AI. Manufacturers will present their solutions and offer opportunities for direct exchange.

Demo areas: On demonstration plots, visitors can experience robotic technology live in action – from autonomous carrier vehicles to AI‑controlled weed management. The exhibition area will also showcase digital solutions, sensors and advanced robotic technologies.

Field Robot Event 2026

The International Field Robot Event (FRE), initiated by Wageningen University in 2003, will once again take place at the DLG Feldtage. This annual competition, held at alternating venues and with varying organising partners, brings together student teams from around the world to compete with their field robots as they perform complex in‑field tasks. The aim of the competition is to test pioneering technologies in robotics and precision farming, while enabling young researchers to exchange ideas, build networks and further develop their concepts in an international environment.

FarmRobotix premiered at the last DLG Feldtage in 2024. Since then, visitors have also been able to experience FarmRobotix at EuroTier 2024 and Agritechnica 2025. DLG, organiser of all three exhibitions, created this international platform for farmers, manufacturers, start‑ups and technology providers interested in the latest developments in robotics, AI, automation and digital solutions in crop production.

As a non‑profit organisation, the remit of DLG is to advance knowledge and practical progress in agriculture. FarmRobotix — together with the International DLG Crop Production Centre, where the DLG Feldtage is being held this year — plays a central role in this mission by demonstrating available technologies under real‑world conditions and supporting farmers in making informed, future‑oriented investment decisions.

Companies can still register to exhibit at DLG Feldtage: Exhibitor registration.

The DLG Feldtage is held every two years and is considered the leading open-air trade fair for professional crop production. After successful events held at DLG’s Crop Production Center in 2012, 2014, and 2018, in 2026 the event will return to Bernburg near Leipzig, Germany, for the fourth time. The international field event offers farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers, and advisors an ideal platform to exchange ideas on innovative technologies, new cultivation systems, and sustainable solutions. Co-organizers include the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt, the State Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture, and AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG. Professional partners such as Vereinigte Hagel Insurance Mutual Association VVaG, the Union for the Promotion of Oil and Protein Plants (UFOP), the Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food, and other organizations will support the open-air exhibition as part of the technical program.
