The activities of the 2026 Flower and Garden Festival in Yanbu Industrial City have concluded, following a month filled with aesthetic, cultural, and entertainment events. The festival witnessed a large public turnout, reaffirming its status as one of the Kingdom’s seasonal tourism events.
The 16th edition of the festival was held from March 23 to April 23, 2026, at the Events Park, featuring innovative artistic designs made from natural flowers under the supervision of national talents—creating a scene that blended environmental creativity with the cultural identity of Saudi Arabia.
The festival attracted remarkable attendance, drawing large numbers of visitors from across the Kingdom and achieving notable growth compared to previous editions, reflecting its increasing popularity year after year.
More than 2,000 diverse activities were presented, including children’s theater shows, stand-up comedy performances, live music, traditional arts, roaming performances, and nighttime laser shows. The interactive “Volcano” experience stood out as one of the festival’s main highlights this year.
Events were distributed across various entertainment and interactive zones, including the Bird Park, Flower Village, Flower Hills, and the “Around the World” area—adding a distinctive festive atmosphere to the occasion.
The festival also contributed to environmental sustainability and enhanced quality of life, while highlighting local economic activity through the participation of entrepreneurs and local entities. It has become an important economic platform, through which 110 local investment partnerships were established.
Additionally, the festival strengthened its economic impact by employing national talent and generating around 1,000 jobs during its run, reflecting its pivotal role in achieving a balanced vision that combines environment, economy, and industry. Community engagement was also strong, with 441 male and female volunteers contributing to organizing the events and serving visitors.
As part of the festival’s operational efforts, 533 bus trips were conducted within the Royal Commission districts to facilitate visitor access to the venue. This contributed to smoother traffic flow and improved service efficiency for visitors to Yanbu.
Within this context, the Royal Commission and Jubin Company played a key role in supporting and activating local tourism. Statistics showed that 110,480 visitors came from outside Yanbu from various regions of the Kingdom, in addition to the arrival of 2,052 buses during the festival—reflecting the significant turnout from outside the area and reinforcing the festival’s position as a leading tourist destination in Saudi Arabia.
The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu emphasized that the festival’s continued success reflects ongoing efforts to deliver a comprehensive experience, highlighting its role in enhancing quality of life and supporting tourism and the local economy in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
