Eurasco’s mission is to improve and promote European agricultural exhibitions, fairs, and shows by facilitating the exchange of information, ideas, and experiences among its members. The organization provides essential advice, liaison, and mutual assistance to maintain high standards in agricultural event organization. Anne-Marie Quéméner, Director of SPACE in Rennes, France, and President of Eurasco, emphasizes: “Our purpose is to facilitate exchange within our members and to profile us as a strong organization towards our stakeholders, mainly international visitors, exhibitors, and the agricultural press.”
Promoting Sustainable and Innovative Trade Fairs
Eurasco places a strong emphasis on sustainability, advocating for environmentally friendly practices and sustainable event planning. By leveraging the latest digital tools and technologies, Eurasco enhances the event experience for participants. Anne-Marie Quéméner highlights: “Sustainability is one of our main topics, along with digitalization and state-of-the-art sales and marketing techniques for trade show organization.” Advanced sales and marketing techniques are also employed to increase engagement for both exhibitors and visitors. For instance, last year’s introduction of virtual reality showcases and AI-driven matchmaking services received outstanding feedback from participants.

To foster continuous professional development and connectivity, Eurasco encourages regular interaction among its members. An annual in-person meeting is held to exchange ideas and experiences, complemented by several virtual meetings via Teams and Zoom throughout the year. This approach ensures that members stay ahead of industry trends and innovations. Anne-Marie Quéméner notes: “The topics that the members discuss are related to the agriculture trade show organization sector. Both from an exhibitor and a visitor point of view, our aim is to professionalize exchange within the agricultural sector.”
