Ridder has officially opened its new Yunnan Service Center, reinforcing its commitment to connect global expertise with local horticultural challenges and opportunities in southwest China. Through local technical support, training, engineering services, and spare parts availability, the center enables Ridder to serve growers faster and more effectively.
Yunnan is one of China’s leading regions for floriculture and protected cultivation. With a growing number of Ridder installations in the region, the new service center enables faster technical support, local spare parts availability, and closer collaboration with customers.
The local team of horticultural specialists and service engineers supports growers with climate control, irrigation, automation, maintenance, system optimization, project upgrades, and technical training.
“At Ridder, we believe customer success starts with connection,” says Joep van den Bosch, General Manager Ridder China. “The Yunnan Service Center helps us connect our global expertise with local challenges and opportunities. It allows us to work more closely with growers and respond faster when they need us.”

Besides technical support and warehousing, the facility will serve as a hub for technical training, knowledge exchange, and collaboration with customers and industry partners.
“Technology creates value only when it is applied successfully in daily operations,” says Cai Ke, Horticultural & Technical Manager Ridder China. “By combining local expertise with Ridder’s global knowledge, we help growers continuously improve their production and get the most from their investment.”
The opening of the Yunnan Service Center marks another milestone in Ridder’s commitment to supporting the continued development of modern horticulture in China through innovation, partnership, and connection.
