Rose grower Porta Nova has won the Net Zero Award at the FPC Fresh Awards. The award ceremony was held in London on Friday, 25 September.

The judges commented: “Porta Nova is setting a new benchmark for sustainable flower production. This innovative nursery has identified the sources of its emissions, invested in practical solutions, measured its impact, and created a commercially viable blueprint for reducing emissions, resource use and chemical inputs.”
“We are incredibly proud of this result, to which everyone at Porta Nova has contributed,” says Porta Nova CEO Stefan van Vuuren. “This recognition reflects our efforts over the past years and shows that we are on the right track.”
