The next edition of Iberflora will once again focus on internationalisation and the generation of new business opportunities for the green sector. This year’s international buyer recruitment strategy reaches 37 different markets, as a result of actions developed by Iberflora together with IVACE and Cámara Valencia, as well as the involvement of associations and exhibiting companies.
The objective is clear: to bring together professionals with purchasing power at Feria Valencia and facilitate direct contact between exhibiting companies and potential clients from strategic markets.
To achieve this, hundreds of proposals from international buyers have been gathered over recent months, further strengthening one of Iberflora‘s key values as a commercial platform and meeting point for professionals in plants, flowers, landscaping, technology and DIY gardening.
Europe accounts for a large share of the proposals
Portugal stands out among the markets with the strongest presence, followed by France, the Netherlands, Morocco and Germany. The list continues with the United Kingdom, Italy and Denmark, three European markets of particular interest to companies taking part in Iberflora.
The recruitment strategy also extends to the Middle East, with proposals from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, expanding opportunities to establish business relationships beyond Europe’s traditional markets.
They are joined by Belgium, Poland, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Libya, the United States, Australia, Slovakia and Lebanon, as well as other markets, bringing the total to 37.
A sector with a strong export focus
Iberflora’s drive to attract international buyers is also taking place against a backdrop of growing Spanish sales of flowers and plants in overseas markets. According to the latest sector data, Spanish exports of flowers and live plants reached €743 million in 2025, 5% more than the previous year.
Live plants continue to be the main driver of exports, with €577 million in 2025. Within this category, trees and shrubs performed particularly strongly, with international sales growing by 18% to reach €137 million. Cut flowers also recorded very positive growth, up 34%, with €107 million in exports.
Against this backdrop of growing internationalisation, Iberflora will once again become a meeting point between Spanish suppliers and professional buyers from strategic markets. The 55th edition of Iberflora will be held from 6 to 8 October 2026 at Feria Valencia, once again coinciding with Eurobrico, the International DIY and Hardware Trade Fair, a joint event that will foster synergies and business opportunities between the green sector, gardening, DIY and hardware.
