ARAG, Nordson’s Precision Agriculture Division, announces new CEO
ShareShareShareShareShare

ARAG, the Precision Agriculture Division of Nordson and a global leader in precision farming solutions, announces the appointment of Daniel Neves as its new Chief Executive Officer. Neves officially took the helm of the Rubiera-based company in early August 2025, ushering in a new phase of global growth for ARAG.

With over twenty-five years of experience in the agricultural sector, Neves brings an international perspective and deep industry expertise. Born in 1975 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, he earned a degree in veterinary medicine and began his career at a Swedish company specializing in milking technologies. There, he held various roles in technical support, marketing, and sales, eventually becoming CEO of the Brazilian subsidiary. After ten years and further studies, he transitioned into the precision irrigation sector, taking on roles across South America and later in Italy, where he oversaw markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His experience expanded further within a group comprising several agricultural and industrial companies, followed by a private equity project focused on irrigation. This initiative led to the creation of a new group through the acquisition of family-owned European businesses. His appointment as CEO of ARAG was officially announced on August 11.

“My relationship with ARAG has been very positive from the start,” said Daniel Neves. “I found passionate and skilled people with a clear vision of the opportunities in the agricultural sector. Upon joining the company, I saw a consistent and solid path built over the years, with a strong focus on the future. This gives me great satisfaction, but also a deep sense of responsibility in leading such a well-established and innovative company.”

Looking ahead, Neves aims to strengthen ARAG’s international presence and consolidate its leadership in existing markets. The company has long operated through well-established subsidiaries in Australia, Brazil, and Argentina, and recently founded a new subsidiary in the United States—a market with significant growth potential. At the same time, new opportunities are emerging in regions such as Asia and parts of Latin America, while Europe remains a key area with room for further expansion. ARAG will continue to prioritize product innovation, a long-standing strength that has enabled the company to stand out in the industry by delivering cutting-edge technologies and tools that support the evolution of agriculture.

“ARAG is a solid company with a strong identity and an extraordinary passion that can be felt every day,” added the new CEO. “I am confident that the combination of internal expertise, innovation capabilities, and deep roots will allow us to face future challenges with determination and success, providing farmers with increasingly effective and sustainable tools.”

With this appointment, ARAG reaffirms its commitment to growth and international development, strengthening its global market presence and continuing to invest in innovation to support the modernization and sustainability of agriculture
