SanLucar has been awarded with the Agriculture 2024 Awards, which recognize the contribution of companies, entities and professionals from the agro-industrial world to the social and economic development of the Valencian Community. It is precisely in this region where the multinational company, dedicated to the production and distribution of premium quality fruit and vegetables, cultivates many of its products and where its headquarters are located, where more than 400 people of 30 nationalities work every day.
In the second edition of the awards, promoted by the Spanish newspaper Levante-EMV, SanLucar has been awarded this prize in recognition of its internationalization. If there is something that distinguishes this premium fruit and vegetable brand, it is undoubtedly its vocation for taking its products of exceptional quality and unbeatable taste to every corner of the world. This was stated by the company’s general manager, Jorge Peris, during the award ceremony that took place last week at the Botanical Garden in the city of Valencia.
According to Peris, “this prize pays tribute to our more than three decades of history. A long trajectory that has led our premium brand to be today in supermarkets in more than 60 countries on four continents. Moreover -he explained- thanks to the more than 100 types of fruit and vegetables that our offer includes, we are currently the fruit and vegetable brand with the widest range in countries such as Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, and the Middle East’. The company’s general director also took the opportunity to thank the SanLucar team of professionals to whom he attributed this success.
The Agriculture Award for Internationalization comes in addition to many other prizes that the international company has received to date. To name but a few, the Goldener Zuckerhut, also known in Germany as the Oscar of the food industry; the Sustainable Business Award granted to SanLucar last year by the Agri-Food Business Federation of the Valencian Community (Fedacova); or the Award for Agricultural Investment in Tunisia given by the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments.
